9 March, Hotel Martinez, Cannes, France
Investment and development forum during MIPIM
organized by
MIPIM 2011 will again see countries from the CEE region feature strongly. The global real estate fair is set to be an excellent opportunity for companies operating in the CEE region to promote themselves as a business destination to all MIPIM participants. If you are doing business in the CEE region or are interested in entering this exciting market place than this event is not to be missed!
Building on the success of last year’s “Poland Breakfast Forum”, EuropaProperty will follow up at this year’s MIPIM with the “EuropaProperty Central & Eastern European BREAKFAST FORUM,” which will take place on the second day of the fair - March 9th - at the Martinez Hotel, and is set to be one of the fair’s premier events on the CEE region.
The forum promises to be a must attend highlight of this year’s MIPIM incorporating business-to-business meetings with international property investors, developers and international key decision makers from the industry.
Presentations of the most attractive investment projects in the region will form an integral part of the program combined with some of CEE’s most topical subjects including infrastructure, PPP, project finance, legal issues, development opportunities and sustainability. All these aspects and more will be covered via a number of high impact expert panels, market presentations and in-depth discussions.
The forum will start at 8:00 with registration and networking. From 8:50 the panels and presentations will begin, then concluding at 11:30 with a final opportunity to network with participants and speakers.

Poland is heralded as the region’s star, performing well above the others – investors and developers are confidently looking at this promising regional player and its future potential. Underlying fundamentals mean that vendors and buyers are able to transact in a market that stands up well when compared to many European alternatives. The only issue is that product is limited, but that in itself is stimulating new development and financing opportunities.

Positive economic results have stimulated the property market to increased activity and this is set to continue through 2011. Presidents and Vice Presidents from Poland’s main cities will discuss the country’s population hot spots and their impact on the economy and their investment potential.

10:45 – 11:25 CEE – Investment & Development Opportunities Overview
The CEE commercial real estate market is now in recovery mode although there are widely differing speeds of recovery throughout the region. However, market experts point out that now we are seeing more activity in Q1 of 2011 than for the whole of the previous two years. Recoveries of property fundamentals are encouraging to investors and developers in certain segments but remain challenging in others. Risk underwriting is now more prevalent and experts are in demand in all markets. What are the mid-term prospects and opportunities for developers and investors?
