QPG to manage Budapest’s Bank Center
GLL Real Estate Partners, a Global Real Estate Fund Managers, has announced it has appointed Quinlan Private Golub, the Central European real estate investment and development group, to manage the centrally-located Bank Center, a 30,000sqm office space, renowned throughout the C&EE region for its unique location, architecture and first-class quality. The building is currently almost fully leased to high quality tenants like Citibank, OTP, Regus, Amgen and many more.
Quinlan Private Golub has developed, managed or been involved with some of the most high profile, international award winning, and landmark office developments in CEE over the past 18 years. These include Warsaw Financial Centre, Charles Square Centre, International Business Centre I & II, Explora Business Centre, Wisniowy Business Park and Nevsky 25. QPG still continues to manage a number of these assets and this experience will be invaluable to maintain the long term success of Bank Centre and it reputation as one of the highest quality, best located office buildings in Budapest and CEE.
Roger Dunlop, CEO of QPG, said: “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to focus our property management skills on this landmark building. It's the jewel in the crown of Budapest's city centre and will continue to be the preferred location for first-class tenants. We are also delighted to extend our close partnership with GLL, one of the region's outstanding real estate fund management groups.”
Paul Bennison, GLL’s Head of Asset Management said: “GLL Real Estate Partners are delighted to further expand our relationship with QPG who already manage the IBC buildings in Warsaw for us. We are currently undertaking a re-modelling of the reception and retail areas to further improve the facilities at Bank Center and we are confident that the appointment of QPG will further raise the existing high level of service to our tenants.”
Designed by the distinguished Hungarian architect, Joseph Finta, Bank Center has an overall gross area of 52,184 sqm and is made up of four towers. It has ten floors, predominantly of offices, with shops, restaurants and retail banking facilities on the ground floor. There are five underground floors providing 460 secure parking spaces.
The Bank Center is superbly located at the financial, banking and administrative hub of the capital of Hungary. It lies just a few blocks from the Danube, the Houses of Parliament and the offices of many of the most influential organisations in Hungary, as well as within easy walking distance of many of Budapest's most prestigious hotels. The building occupies what was, until it was created, the last undeveloped block available in downtown Budapest. As a result, no other office building in Budapest can rival its combination of first-class business accommodation and prime location.
