Ghelamco announces first big lease agreement of 2010
Nike has leased 1,900 sqm in Ghelamco’s new development in Warsaw - Crown Square. This deal is heralded as the biggest leasing agreement announced so far in 2010.
Nike has signed the lease agreement for six years. “Nike will occupy 1,900 sqm, two floors in Crown Square. So far it is the biggest tenant in the building,” commented Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director for Ghelamco Poland. “We are now negotiating the agreements for another 8,000 sqm and we assume that by the end of this year the building will be fully leased.”
Crown Square is one of the few recent A Class office buildings to have been completed in the city center
of Warsaw. Despite the market slow down the investment was built according to its schedule. The first tenant – GATX Rail Poland – will move into the building in the middle of February and will occupy 1,000 sqm.
Crown Square offers 17,000 sqm of modern office space on 13 above ground storeys. The underground car park allows easy parking for 227 cars. Apart from the offices the building also offers
retail and service spaces.
Crown Square completes the Crown Investments complex that consists of Crown Point and Crown Tower.
