Salans acted as legal advisor to Euroterminal LLC (the Borrower) regarding a $27 million loan facility from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The loan is intended to be used by the borrower for construction of a logistics service centre on a 50-hectare land plot located in Odessa, Ukraine.

The centre will provide several logistic functions which will support an integrated extension of the existing container handling facilities in the sea port of Odessa.

Salans core project team in Ukraine was led by Natalia Selyakova (Partner, Head of Salans’ Banking and Finance Group in Ukraine). Other attorneys from Salans banking and finance team involved were: William McCaffrey (Partner, London), Oleg Stepanov (Associate, Kyiv) and Olesya Zhmak (Associate, Kyiv).
