Oriflame becomes the newest tenant of Novosibirsk logistics park

The Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame has signed a lease agreement for warehouse premises in the Class A logistics park Novosibirsk, owned by Raven Russia Ltd. The lease period of the agreement is five years. The interests of Raven Russia were represented by Colliers International.

The rented warehouse space including office premises amount to 5,000 sqm. It is noteworthy that Oriflame had already rented warehouse premises of Class B in Novosibirsk, but decided to move to a higher class logistics park.

Logistics park Novosibirsk is located on 18 ha land plot along Petukhova Street in Kirovsky district on the South of Novosibirsk city, close to road M51 connecting the city with Moscow. The total area of the logistics park is 117,000 sqm, including 100,500 sqm of warehouse space, 9,800 sqm of mezzanine area, and 6,500 sqm of office premises for lease. The logistics park opened in February last year. Logistics operators FM Logistic (10,000 sqm) and Avalon Logistics (32,000 sqm) have already become tenants of Novosibirsk.

The project complies with all the international standards for Class A warehouse premises, such as ceiling height, bay spacing, sufficient amount of loading gates, area for transport manoeuvring, and professional management of the building.

The investor and the owner of the Novosibirsk logopark is Raven Russia, which has invested $ 1.5 billion in the development of a chain of Class A warehouses across Russia and the CIS countries comprising over 1 million sqm of completed areas.

Adrian Baker, Group Managing Director Raven Russia Ltd.: “We are delighted Oriflame has chosen our project in Novosibirsk. This letting is confirmation of an improvement in demand for high quality Class A warehouses in both Novosibirsk and elsewhere in Russia.”

Vladislav Ryabov, Director of Industrial and Warehouse Property Department, Colliers International: “From the very beginning Oriflame considered logistics park Novosibirsk as a priority due to high quality of construction and favourable location of the facility. This deal is a landmark for Novosibirsk real estate market development in terms of the rented area and lease term.”

Sergey Kanashin, General Manager Oriflame Russia: “Oriflame has been present in the Novosibirsk region for 10 years now. For all these years we have witnessed very dynamic and successful development of our business in this region. One of the strategic goals of our company development is delivering superior service to our consultants and business partners. And also it is essential that our employees are working in a comfortable and friendly environment, because they are delivering services of international standard to our partners. Those are the reasons why this project is of high importance for the company. It will help us to receive the sufficient amount of warehouse premises for the needs of our business, allocation of technological resources and bring our warehouse operation to the highest standard.”
