Knauf Insulation signs lease agreement with Explora Business Centre

Quinlan Private Golub has announced that leading insulation supplier, Knauf Insulation, has signed a lease agreement for 425 sqm of office space in phase I of Explora Business Centre, the A-Class Jupiter building, located in Prague 13’s commercial district.

With this new lease, the Jupiter building now stands at over 90 percent leased, with existing tenants including Citibank Europe, DHL Express (Czech Republic), General Electric International, TechData International, Honda Česká republika, Trigema, and ThyssenKrupp Výtahy.

“The addition Knauf Insulation yet again confirms that Explora Business Centre to be one of the strongest, most successful, office developments in Prague. This means Jupiter Building is now over 90 percent leased. The tenant line up really must be one of the best in CEE as Knauf will sit alongside, DHL Europe, General Electric International, Citibank, Honda, Tech Data Corporation and ThyessenKrupp among others,” said Guy Speir, Leasing and Marketing Director for Quinlan Private Golub across the CEE region and added: “Our focus now is on leasing the remaining office space in Jupiter, about 1,400 sqm available, and the retail. We do have some strong interest and we hope to have these units leased soon. We are also now starting discussions with tenants about pre-leasing the further phases of Explora which are still subject to planning.”

Phase I of Explora Business Centre, Jupiter building, offers 21,100 sqm of total leasable area, of which 2,653 sqm is dedicated retail. Jupiter Building consists of 8 above ground floors with floor plates of 2,845 sqm, and 3 below ground floors for parking with 327 spaces. Phase II and Phase III of Explora, Neptune and Saturn buildings respectively, are currently in planning stages Situated over the Nove Butovice underground station, just 15 minutes by metro from the city centre and 15 minutes drive to the airport; Explora is in a district of Prague where headline rents are more cost effective than those in Prague’s city centre.
