Popular sporting brands in Galeria Victoria
Keen Property Partners Retail (KPP Retail), the developer of Galeria Victoria entertainment and retail centre in Wałbrzych, has announced that a lease agreement has been signed for the creation of a multi-brand store housing leading international sportswear brands adidas, Nike and Reebok.
Providing an attractive enhancement of the mall’s fashion offering, the popular sporting brands will jointly occupy 200 sqm of retail space located on the first floor of the mall. The construction of Galeria Victoria started in February 2009, and the grand opening is planned for summer 2010.
“We are very happy that these top, international sportswear brands have decided to create a multi-brand store together in Galeria Victoria,” said Richard Keen, Managing Director of Keen Property Partners. “Adidas, Nike and Reebok are some of the most well-known sportswear brands in the world and have very strong position in the Polish market, so their presence in Galeria Victoria will significantly enhance the mall’s offering.”
Galeria Victoria will be the first modern retail, entertainment, residential and hotel complex in Wałbrzych and the surrounding region, bringing the first multiplex cinema (Cinema City), restaurants and coffee shops and many highly-desired Polish and international retail brands to the city for the first time. The two-storey shopping complex will house a hypermarket
(4,800 sqm) and approximately 180 shops, giving the people of Wałbrzych access to well-known and popular clothing brands, a retail park (over 6,000 sqm), a Media Expert electronics store (approximately 2,500 sqm), and other services located in a retail area of over 43,000 sqm. In the recreation zone (2,300 sqm), the mall’s customers will find a modern Cinema City multiplex cinema with 7 screens and a wide range of restaurants, snack bars and coffee shops. 1,390 underground and ground parking spaces will be created for customers with cars.
